Existing reviews of 20 hp (15 kW) Soft starter, 30 A, 3ph 220v/380v/480v
We've had this soft starter for almost three years now. Sometimes it pops up "output lost" error and unable to stop the motor. Or motor stops without pressing stop. We did check that. All wires and connections are firm and intact. I wonder if the problem is be in the control pad in cover. Still, I'm happy with it after three years of use and plan to go back for a new one.

1. Regarding this unit getting "output lost" error, can you provide us with photos or a video for confirmation? You can also press the YES button through the operation panel, and then scroll up and down to find the fault record information at the back. And please provide us with photos of the fault information. You can send us the large video file via wetransfer.com.
2. You can replace the control board with a new one, but you need to provide us with a picture of the nameplate label of the soft starter to confirm the specific model.
A question about soft starter
I bought a soft start last month. If possible, hook up a time delay timer to be able to turn off the motor and motor starter with your soft starter. How can I install a timer to turn off my machine's motor without completely shutting off the power to the starter and instead let the soft starter turn off the motor after the desired run time.

Our suggestion is that you can use a timer to control the start/stop signal of the soft starter. When the time counted by the timer is up, the stop signal of the soft starter will be triggered, and the soft starter will stop running, thereby stopping the motor.

You could first check whether the wiring of the soft starter is normal, please refer to the following video to check the wiring, including setting parameters, see on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkSo1DOBHlM
If the problem persists, please provide us a video for reference, which should include showing how your soft starter is wired.
Great! The motor starts smoothly, the noise of starter is very small, safe and secure.
