Existing reviews of 25 hp (18 kW) Soft starter, 37 A, 3ph 220v/400v/460v
The soft starter was wired as per the diagram in the manual and worked for a short time. We removed the soft start and put the starter back in as it is a needed pump and cannot be running. The soft start starts the motor but after the start up it doesn’t start the auxiliary contact and shows running status. I can jump terminal 1 and 2 and the auxiliary contractor pulls in. What is going on?

In this case, If the soft starter's terminal 1 and 2 will Not close, you can try to use terminals 3 and 4, and then modify the parameters: FC=2, FE=9. You can try to use terminals 3 and 4 as the starting contacts.
Questions about soft starters
In all of your wiring diagrams and pictures, I see only one reference to the 3φ common or neutral. The neutral connects from the input circuit breaker to A2 on the contactor. I see no neutral connection to the soft starter or even the motor in your wiring diagram or pictures. This is not right. It is also not right for not showing the relationship of 3φ neutral to ground.
I have not powered on your device at all because the information supplied is uncomplete. I need to see how your soft starter is connected to neutral and a neutral connection to the 3φ motor. Please show this essential information plainly in wiring diagram and pictures. Your pictures are not adequate. There are only 2 color wires Red and blue. The white labels are mostly unreadable. No ground wire shown. No neutral or ground to the motor or soft starter. This is not right. Please show all of this information clearly.
Otherwise, please give me an RMA number and address to return this device. If the only connection from the 3φ neutral is to the contactor at A2 and the rest of the circuit “floats”, then state this plainly. Is there a connection from 3φ neutral to the soft starter and motor? If so – show it?

1. Yes, you are right. The only connection from the 3φ neutral is to the contactor at A2 and the rest of the circuit “floats”. Our soft starter accepts power from only 3φ, no natural wire, no ground wire. The neutral wire used in the video is provided for the contactor.
2. The neutral you see in the demo video is just the coil connected to the contactor (this is because the contactor coil voltage is AC220V, for three-phase 380V voltage, the voltage of one live wire and one natural wire is exactly AC220V) . The ground wire of the motor you can connect to the ground wire of the power supply.
25hp soft starter has a certain range of tolerances
I want to order your 25hp soft starter, but the lowest voltage shown at your website input voltage option is 220 volts. The power here measures 208 volts across the legs?

Ok, select 220V input and proceed ordering, we shall modify your order to 208V based on sending us an email. And in all cases no worries the soft starter has +/- 15% tolerance, so also 220V will work good.
