    Fixed Combustible Gas Detector Details

    Tips: Installation of Fixed Combustible Gas Detector

    The combustible gas detector is used for flammable gas leak detection and alarming. When the combustible gas leaks and the detector monitors that the gas concentration reaches the set critical point, the flammable gas detector will sound an alarm to remind the staff of taking measures, to prevent explosions, fires, and poisoning accidents, thus ensuring safe production. Once fixed combustible gas detector is installed in place, its position is not easy to change. Therefore, something should be noted before installing the detector.

    1. First of all, it is necessary to find out the place to be monitored where may be leaking points or prone to gas leakage, such as the interface of the pipeline, etc., and analyze the leakage pressure, direction and other factors.
    2. It also needs to judge the direction of leakage of combustible gas when a large number of leakage occurs according to the air flow direction, wind direction and other specific factors on site.
    3. According to the density of the leaked gas (greater or less than air) and the trend of air flow, the downstream position of the gas flow can be considered as the initial installation point.
    4. Figure out the leakage state of the leak point, micro leak or spray-like leak. If it is micro leakage, the combustible gas detector should be installed closer to the leakage point. If the leakage is spray-like, it should be installed slightly away from the leak point.
    5. The installation height of the outdoor gas detector can be selected according to the density of the measured gas. A very important thing to understand is that the detector should be installed on the downwind side.

    Would this gas detector need to be protected against weather conditions?
    The gas detector would be mounted outside in various conditions, would not be mounted to the gas skid, but be mounted on its own stand to compensate for wind direction when in operation. Oil and gas drilling and completions operations. Would this gas detector need to be protected against weather conditions?

    Can we install the sensor 30 feet from the transmitter?
    I wanna know if I buy one gas detector LEL 0-100% with remote,also needs a calibration kit, the sensor can be replaced only? Can we install the sensor 30 feet from the transmitter?

    Fixed Combustible Gas Detector 0 to 100% LEL, with remote control (the remote control distance is about 8-10 meters), and the sensor can be replaced individually. The calibration kit that comes with the Detector is a brass pressure-reducing valve.
    Perfect fixed combustible gas detector
    This fixed combustible gas detector is perfect, both in terms of shape and performance, it is the best. I've been using this gas detector for three months and haven't found any problems so far.

    Good fixed combustible gad detector
    The gas detector is fairly easy to use and understand. The C02 reads around 400ppm with my windows open and about 1500ppm after an 8 hour sleep with the windows closed so it seems fairly accurate.

    My questions about the gas detector
    I am interested in the H2 analyzer you offer and would like to ask a few questions regarding the product:
    1. Do you know what the minimum flow rate is that the instrument operates at?
    2. Is the accuracy of the instrument with operating range 0-100% the same as what is described in the product description?
    3. Is there any cross sensitivity for other gases we should be aware of?
    4. Do you know what detection technology is used and how the calibration should be performed?
    Could I get a quote for the instrument that has an analysis range 0-100% please?

    For your inquires below, here are the answers:
    1. The minimum flow rate is 500mL/min.
    2. Yes, the 0-100% accuracy of the instrument working range is as described in the product description.
    3. For the range 0-100%VOL, it can only be used in a single hydrogen environment, no other gas exists.
    4. Measurement technology is sensor semiconductor principle, calibration is with pure hydrogen 99.999%VOL standard gas calibration.
