Existing reviews of 2kVA Single Phase 110v 60Hz to 230v 50Hz Converter
Impressive Converter for International
The converter's compact size makes it incredibly portable, and I can easily slip it into my travel bag. The ability to switch between 110v 60Hz and 230v 50Hz is seamless and quick. I've used it in Europe and Asia, and it has never let me down. The build quality is sturdy, and it feels like a reliable piece of equipment.

Please recommend a frequency converter suitable for us.
We have a system with the electrical requirements of 480V/3 Phase/60 Hz we are looking to market in Europe in countries with 400V/3 Phase/50Hz. Will your equipment provide this output?
Our system requires 76 amps of 480V/3 phase/60 Hz.
Our system has (2) motors, one is 29 amps and the other is 35 amps, both are 480V/3 phase and both are controlled by soft starters. The rest of the load is a small conveyor motor of 5 amps and the control system with a PLC of 2 amps powered by a 480V x 24VDC power supply. No transformers or capacitors are being used on this system.

Based on your specs, recommended frequency converter model: HZ-50-33100, 100kVA power capacity, input: 3ph, Wye (L1, L2, L3 + N, G), 400V (+/- 10%), 50/60Hz and output: 3ph, Wye/Delta (L1, L2, L3 + N, G), adjustable (0-520V), adjustable (40-120Hz), 138.8A.
We are interested in your frequency converter
We are interested in your HZ-50-1105 frequency converter and delivered in Spain. The input voltage should be 230V and the frequency 50Hz. What is the difference between the HZ-50-1105 and the HZ-60-1105?

1. Based on your choice, recommended frequency converter model: HZ-50-1105, 5kVA power capacity, input: 1ph, 230V (+/- 10%), 50/60Hz and output: 1ph (L, N, G), adjustable (0-300V)/(0-150V), adjustable (40-120Hz), 20.8A/41.6A.
2. The difference between HZ-50 & HZ-60 is just the control panel shape, one of them using the keypad "HZ-60-", and the other uses knobs.. And both are of the same construction.

Thanks for the quick reply from ATO.con
1. Supply: 480V 3Ø 60Hz
2. Output: 230V 1Ø 50Hz (European); though it would be nice to have the flexibility of testing standard USA split phase equipment in the future if possible.
3. Load will be various equipment associated with our hydro turbines-control panels, actuators, pumps. The pumps will have motors which will likely drive the converter selection. For this 15kVA unit, does the inrush current of the motor have to be below 62.5A or can it accommodate a temporary spike that is not listed here?

2. Converter output can be 1-phase, one hot line (European) or split phase, 2 hot lines (USA), it can not be both at the same time.
3. Yes, the inrush current of the motor has to be below 62.5A, and if it goes above this value, the converter internal protection will trip. It can not accommodate a temporary spike.
