What Causes the AODD Pump to Fail to Pump Liquid?

Air operated double diaphragm pump is a new type of conveying machinery. It uses compressed air as the power source. It can absorb all kinds of corrosive liquids, liquids with particles, high viscosity, volatile, flammable and highly toxic liquids. It is used more and more in the chemical industry, but when many customers purchase pneumatic double diaphragm pumps, they find that they cannot pump liquids at all. Today, we will analyze the reasons for the failure of the air diaphragm pump to pump liquid.

1. The specific gravity of the liquid is too large, or the concentration is too large, and the suction stroke of the pump cannot be reached, so in this case, the pump is working, but the liquid cannot be pumped.
2. The valve ball and ball seat in the pump body of the pneumatic diaphragm pump are not well sealed, and the pumped liquid flows back immediately. In this case, the pump body is liquid, but the flow rate is very small and the lift is very low.
3. The liquid inlet pipe is not well sealed. In this case, the pump works normally, but because it cannot absorb liquid, the pump cannot pump liquid.
4. The air source pressure of the air inlet is not enough. Generally, the air source pressure range of the domestic pneumatic diaphragm pump is generally 2-7kg, and the pump cannot work normally if it is larger or smaller than this value.
5. The wearing parts in the pump body of the pneumatic diaphragm pump are worn out. In this case, it is easier to solve the problem. Just replace the wearing parts.
6. The lowest error is to connect the inlet and outlet of the pump in reverse. The inlet of the pump is at the bottom and the outlet is at the top. The probability of this error is very small, but I have encountered such customers.
7. If the air source of the air compressor is too low, the air volume will be insufficient (the normal air pressure is 5-7 kg).
8. The gasket is broken, and the gasket needs to be replaced.
9. Check whether the diaphragm of the AODD pump is damaged.
