Tips: Electrochemistry principle of the formaldehyde gas detector.
Formaldehyde gas detector consists of a plug-in electrochemical sensor, an intelligent transmission module and a sensor splash cover. Working mode of the electrochemistry sensor is to detect a certain amount of gas diffusion. Oxygen first passes through a sintered stainless steel filter, and then enters the sensor through the gas permeable membrane on the sensor. Between the electrode of the sensor and the electrolyte, oxygen is consumed and a corresponding current is generated between the anode and the cathode. When current flows in the sensor, the lead positive electrode is oxidized to lead oxide. Intensity of the output current and the concentration of oxygen have an absolute linear function relationship. The rapid response capability of electrochemistry sensor enables the formaldehyde gas detector to continuously monitor the concentration of formaldehyde.
