Tips: The composition of DC contactor

The DC contactor is composed of electromagnetic mechanism, contact system and arc extinguishing device. For example, the electromagnetic mechanism is composed of an iron core, a pull-in coil, and an armature, and mostly adopts a clap-type structure that rotates around the corners. Since the current passing through the pull-in coil is DC, under normal circumstances, the energization in the coil will not generate eddy current on the iron core, so that the iron core does not generate heat, so it has no iron loss, so the iron core can be made of integral cast iron or cast steel. The number of turns of the coil winding of the DC low-voltage contactor is larger than that of the AC contactor coil, so the resistance value of the DC contactor coil is relatively large.

Unfortunately, we do not provide DC current rating of the contactor.
Seems Well Made for the Cost
I combined this with a WiFi Smart Relay to make a heavy duty smart control for my water heater. I spend a lot of time working on the road for weeks at a time and now I can turn the water heater back on a couple of hours from home to take a shower when I get home. So far it is operating quite well and I haven't had any issues.
