Tips: 5 reasons for the smoke burning out of the control transformer

  1. The transformer is overloaded or the design temperature rise is too large, resulting in overheating of the product, which has exceeded the temperature resistance level of the body insulation material.
  2. The turn-to-turn insulation of the primary side or the secondary side is damaged or aged, resulting in turn-to-turn short circuits, local overheating, and smoke.
  3. The welding part of the outgoing line is faulty welded and the contact resistance is large, resulting in the local current density being too large, and even the conductor can be fused.
  4. If there is shielding copper in the transformer coil, it can also be caused by a shielding copper short circuit.
  5. If there is a through bolt in the core, the bolt shall be insulated from the core at least on one side. Otherwise, if a magnetic short circuit is caused, the bolt will be burnt red.
