12/24V DC to AC Power Inverter Wiring Diagram
Note: The connection of 48V power inverter with batteries is similar to the wiring of 24V inverter, and the batteries is connected in series.
Tips: What is the difference between a transformer and an inverter?
Simply put, an inverter is an electronic device that converts low voltage (12/24/48 volts) DC power to 110/120/220/230/240 volts AC power. Generally, the AC power is converted to DC power for our use, and the inverter has the opposite effect, hence the name. We are in a “mobile” era, mobile office, mobile communication, mobile leisure and entertainment. In the mobile state, people not only need low-voltage DC power supplied by batteries, but also need the AC power like 120V or 220 VAC. The inverter is what we need.
Transformer is an electrical device to realize power conversion based on electromagnetic induction principle. It can convert AC power of one voltage and current into AC power of another voltage and current with the same frequency. The role of the transformer is to change the voltage. It can not only step up the power generated by the power station to high voltage, but also reduce the loss in the power transmission, and facilitate the long-distance transmission of power. The transformer can also gradually step down the high-voltage power to suit the user’s requirement. Therefore, the transformer is in an extremely important position in the power grid, and is the key equipment to ensure the safe, reliable, economic operation of the power grid and people's production and living electricity.
