Features

Installation of the hydraulic triple gear pump is SAE 2-bolt standard flange. Input shaft connection is woodruff key. Connection type of the oil inlet and outlet ports is thread.

Tips: How to extend service life of the hydraulic triple gear pump?

Use a kerosene brush to clean the gear surface of hydraulic triple gear pump, and then use a whetstone to clean up the debris left during boring.
Be careful not to install the right-handed pump on the left-handed pump, otherwise the skeleton oil seal of hydraulic triple gear pump will be damaged.
Before installing the pump cover, pour a small amount of hydraulic oil into the housing of the hydraulic triple gear pump, and turn the meshing gear by hand.
After installing the hydraulic triple gear pump, before tightening bolts, check whether the gap between the pump cover and pump body is between 0.3~0.6mm. If the gap is too small, replace the large sealing ring. After all installations are completed, check to make sure that the rotation is flexible and no jamming.
When oil leaks from the inlet and outlet ports of hydraulic triple gear pump, use sandpaper to flatten the joint surface of the two, and replace the appropriate sealing rings. Polish the chamfered burr of the threaded connection port with a whetstone, and replace the intact sealing ring (pad). It is strictly forbidden to wind it with various types of sealant and raw material tape.

About triple gear pump

We have an ATO-HTGP-13580 triple gear pump in an experimental application. To get better filtration on the pump inlet, we’re considering a change to the hydraulic circuit so that the triple gear pump inlet oil comes from the filtered outlet of a variable displacement charge pump. The charge pump outlet pressure is 4 bar. Are the seals, etc. of this triple gear pump able to handle inlet oil at a 4 bar charge pressure?

The oil inlet of our ATO-HTGP-13580 three-gear pump cannot have pressure, and the oil outlet pressure can be 21MPa.

customer feedback

I have an ATO-HTGP-13580 triple gear pump. The pump was ordered as CCW rotation. Is that CCW as viewed from the input shaft end or CCW as viewed from the pump back cover?
The pump is working, but not putting out much flow or pressure. Is that what happens if it’s running backwards? Any other ideas what could be wrong?

1. The pump rotates CW clockwise when viewed from the shaft end of the pump, and CCW rotates counterclockwise when viewed from the back cover of the pump.
2. You can check whether there is a problem with the pressure regulating valve in the system. If there is a problem with the pressure regulating valve, there will also be insufficient pressure and flow.

Question about hydraulic triple gear pump

Good afternoon, there is no problem with the pump we are using for our industrial snowblower program, we just want to reverse the rotation from clockwise to counterclockwise. Are there specific instructions available for the three section pumps we are using? Thanks very much for getting back to us.

Unfortunately, the direction of rotation of the pump cannot be changed. If you need to change the direction of rotation, you can buy a new one.
