After purchasing S beam load cell, you can choose a special digital panel meter to obtain readings directly, or choose a transmitter to output standard signal to PLC, DCS and other systems. Customized output signal is 0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA, or RS485.
Note: The load cell cannot be connected to both the transmitter and the controller at the same time — only one can be selected.
S beam load cell measuring both tension and compression. Available in 50kg to 5-ton ranges with analog, digital, and RS485 outputs. Offers 2mV/V sensitivity, operates on 5-15V, perfect for hopper scales, material weighing, spring tension tests, and pressure monitoring.

Tips: What is an S Beam Load Cell and how does it work?
An S beam load cell is a strain gauge-based sensor designed to measure both tension and compression forces. It works by converting mechanical force into an electrical signal through strain gauges bonded to the load cell's structure. When a force is applied, the strain gauges detect minute deformations and generate a proportional electrical output, which is then processed to determine the exact force being exerted. The S-shaped design provides high accuracy, stability, and versatility, making it suitable for applications such as industrial weighing, material testing, and force measurement systems.
