Spring reset function: The initial state of the valve is closed. Commonly known as Air open, after the valve opening, if the sudden gas source is broken, then the spring reset function will work, the spring reset would turn off the valve, the same, if the initial state of the valve is opened commonly known as gas closed after the valve closed, if the sudden gas source is broken, then the spring reset will open the valve.
Double acting pneumatic cylinder. Whether it is opened or closed, the valve need gas source, if the sudden gas source is broken, the valve will remain in the state of which at that time, the gas source reconnected on the valve can continue to work.

Great double acting pneumatic cylinder!

So far this double acting cylinder is working fine. Been running for a few hours so far without any issues. I have been running the air supply at 200 PSI. It does crush cans well. I was able to crush the jar down to about 1/2 inch without much trouble. That's great!
