    Tips: What are VOC gases?

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are gases released from various solids or liquids and are commonly found in household products, building materials, and industrial processes.  These compounds evaporate easily at room temperature, releasing the molecules into the air. Common sources of VOCs include paints, solvents, cleaners, and fuels.  While many VOCs are harmless, some may pose health risks, causing indoor and outdoor air pollution.  Short-term exposure to high concentrations of VOCs may irritate the eyes, nose, and throat, as well as headaches and nausea.  Long-term exposure to certain volatile organic compounds can lead to more serious health problems, such as liver, kidney, and nervous system damage, as well as an increased risk of cancer. Therefore, in this environment, it is very necessary to choose to use a VOC gas detector.
