Does the  spindle motor have encoder feedback that the VFD reads?
I am wondering if we are able to control the speed of this 2.2 kW air-cooled CNC spindle motor using the suggested VFD. For example, does the motor have encoder feedback that the VFD reads?

Yes, you can use the suggested VFD to control the speed of this motor, because the VFD can adjust the output frequency and control the speed of the motor. This motor has no encoder feedback, and no encoder is required to adjust the speed of the motor through the VFD.
Works great
The 350watt ATC spindle motor arrived on time. No setup or functionality issues. Runs very smoothly and quietly for 6 hours at various speeds and under no-load conditions.
