Tips: Thermode of thermocouple
As a temperature measurement sensitive element, thermode is the core part of thermode temperature sensor, and its measuring terminal generally adopts the welding manner. Common forms of welding spot include spot welding, butt welding and twisted spot welding (twist shape), and welding quality will affect reliability of temperature measurement. Therefore, welding must be secure, have metallic luster, be smooth and round in surface, and have no contamination, deterioration, slag inclusion and crack. To reduce heat transfer errors and dynamic response errors, size of welding should be small as far as possible, and it is generally as big as two times of diameter of thermode.
