Safety relay for safety mat uses ABS engineering plastic as the shell material. Its operating temperature range is -25℃ to +70℃, and the ambient humidity range is 35%-95%RH, which is suitable for different environments.
Features
- Safety relays are widely used in industrial safety systems and can be used in conjunction with safety mats to enhance the reliability of equipment safety systems and form a safer protection system.
- The safety relay is operated by a DC24V power supply and has a DC24V positive alarm output.
- One normally closed safety contacts are output in series, and one normally open auxiliary contacts are output in parallel. The number of safety contacts can be increased through expansion modules.
- The relay adopts a dual-channel operation mode, which can complete the self-test of the carpet and the controller, and has a power indicator and channel 1 and channel 2 status indicators.
- Its safety level is level 2, in accordance with standard ENISO 13849.
- The circuit has a self-monitoring redundant circuit, and the safety function is still effective even if one component is damaged.
- The safety function of the relay can be automatically detected by correctly opening and closing in each switching cycle.
- Its reset circuit: provides a feedback control loop for monitoring external contactors/relays.

Indicator light description
- Power: Yellow light.
- Normal: Green light for normal operation, red light for stepping on, this is a two-color light.
- Error: Red light for disconnection
- After the safety relay is connected, the working power indicator light is yellow.
- When the output is automatically reset: the working power indicator light is green.
Connection mode
Four-core safety mat wiring method
Connect the brown, blue, white and black wires of the carpet to the BN, BU, WH and BK terminals of the relay according to the figure below, connect the positive and negative poles of the 24V power supply to the + and - terminals of the relay respectively, the safety output is the two passive terminals COM2 and NC, COM1 and NO are auxiliary outputs, and AL+ and AL- are connected to the positive and negative poles of the DC24v alarm respectively.
S1 and S2 are the reset buttons of the output. When disconnected, they are automatically reset. If they are changed to manual reset, a normally closed button can be added. There is no emergency stop after s3 and S4 are short-circuited; emergency stop is connected to the emergency stop button.
One normally open (NO) contact, one normally closed (NC) contact

Two normally closed (NC) contacts

Note: The short-circuit wire is not allowed to be plugged in or out at will.
Two-core safety mat wiring method
Connect the black, red, red and black wires of the carpet at both ends to the BN, BU, WH and BK terminals of the relay according to the figure below, connect the positive and negative poles of the 24V power supply to the + and - terminals of the relay respectively, the safety output is the two passive terminals COM2 and NC, COM1 and NO are auxiliary outputs, and AL+ and AL- are connected to the positive and negative poles of the DC24v alarm respectively.
S1 and S2 are the reset buttons of the output. When disconnected, they are automatically reset. If they are changed to manual reset, a normally closed button can be added. There is no emergency stop after s3 and S4 are short-circuited; emergency stop is achieved when the emergency stop button is connected.

Note: The short-circuit wire is not allowed to be plugged in or out at will.
Tips: What is safety relay for safety mat?
Safety relay for safety mat (safety relay) is a safety device designed to be used with safety mat. Its function is to ensure that when a person or object touches the safety mat, it can quickly respond and trigger safety measures, such as stopping the machine or sounding an alarm, to prevent industrial equipment from causing harm to personnel.
