Would this load cell be usable?
We would be looking to use this load cell with 3.3 V excitation, however, I see the recommended range is 5 – 10 V. Typically 3.3 Vexc simply results in a reduction in the Vout by the ratio of 3.3/5V.
i.e. Vout @3.3Vexc would be equivalent to 0.66 * Vout@5Vexc

Our load cell nalso supports 3.3V excitation voltage, but if the power supply voltage is low, the signal will become smaller and the stability of the sensor will Not be good. We suggest that an excitation voltage of 5V or above would be better.
The tolerance for this dimension of load cell
This is referring to the micro loadcell we have been ordering, PN: ATO- LCBU-DYHW-120 rated at 1500kg. After further investigation, we also noticed a fairly large drift of the loadcell height. It is rated at 11mm according to your product data sheet, yet no tolerance is provided.
Please provide us a tolerance for this dimension that these loadcells are kept to so we can further design around it.

The tolerance for this dimension of ATO-LCBU-DYHW-120 is ±0.1mm.
Is this load cell for the range of 0-500 KG?
Is this for the range of 0-500 KG?
Also, What would be the best way to calibrate it?

Which load cell can we expect when ordering more in the future?
We ordered a second micro loadcell button type PN: ATO-LCBU-DYHW-120 rated at 1500kg.
When it arrived, we noticed the deviation between the second one (black cable) and the first one we ordered (orange cable) based on the top face profile.
Are they different loadcells rated at different capacities?
Which one can we expect when ordering more in the future?
Please provide an explanation.
Thank you.

Thanks for your feedback.
The load cell PN you bought: Is ATO-LCBU-DYHW-120
Due to product upgrades, the default cable of the sensor has changed from the previous orange cable to the black cable.
For your new order, if you want to continue to use the orange cable, you just need to let us know by email after placing the order.
Thank you for your understanding.
Please provide more details on load cell
We received the ATO-LCBU-DYHW-120 load cell and so far it is working very well at lower loads. We are looking to conduct some computer stress-analysis on the load cell and our designed fixture it will be sitting in, but we need some more information on the load cell material properties.
Please provide more details on the following:
Specific-type of stainless steel used.
Surface treatment procedure; case hardening, quenching, annealing, normalizing, etc.

Unfortunately, we do not provide more information on material properties of load cells.
Manual mounting for a load cell
We need to install a load cell ATO-LC-BU04 in the stand and we have a question about the mounting load cell.
Can you send manual mounting for a load cell ATO-LC-BU04?

1. The 3ph flowing from the VFD should go directly to the motor instead of other loads, otherwise it may malfunction.
2. The voltage output by our VFD is not a sine wave. You use a general multi meter to measure inaccurately.
You need to use a special oscilloscope to measure voltage and frequency correctly.
Use of miniature load cell
I need a load cell which will be constantly under weight (up to 300kg), in my application, I need to mointor the reduction of that weight (the weight load will decrease by a mutliplier of 5KG), and then output that difference in weight change.

But We don't know where the sensor will be installed, the specific size requirements etc. So cannot recommend certain model. Please, provide photos of your application, and where the load cell will be installed?
I ordered two load cells of your products, just wanted to confirm that no taxes will be charged, the university of pennsylvania is a tax exempt organization.

Don't worry no additional payment will be required from you. And no taxes will be charged. You will be receiving the load cells at your door step.
