The pressure problem is often ignored when the globe valve is filled with fat. During the operation of fat injection, the pressure of fat injection regularly shows a peak-valley variation. If the pressure is too low, the seal leaks or fails. If the pressure is too high, the fat filling mouth is blocked, the fat in the seal is hardened, or the sealing ring is locked with the valve ball or valve plate. Usually when the grease injection pressure is too low, more grease is injected into the bottom of the valve chamber, which usually occurs in glove stop valves. While the pressure of fat injection is too high, on the one hand, check the fat injection nozzle, and replace it if the fat hole is blocked. On the other hand is lipid hardening, to use cleaning fluid, repeatedly soften the failure of the seal fat, and inject new grease replacement.

In addition, sealing type and sealing material also affect the fat injection pressure. Different sealing forms have different fat injection pressure. In general, the fat injection pressure of hard seal is higher than that of soft seal. Ball valve maintenance is generally in the open state, under special circumstances choose to close maintenance. Other valves can not be all in the open position. The globe control valve must be closed during maintenance to ensure that the grease is filled with sealing groove along the sealing ring. If it is opened, the sealing grease will directly fall into the flow channel or valve chamber, causing waste.

After installation, the stop valve should be inspected regularly. The main inspection items are as follows:

• Globe valve sealing surface wear condition.
• Stem and stem nut trapezoidal thread wear.
• If the packing is outdated and invalid, it should be replaced in time if it is damaged.
• After the maintenance and assembly of the stop valve, the sealing performance test should be carried out.
