The function of linear guide rail motion is to support and guide the moving parts to make reciprocating linear motion in a given direction. According to the friction properties, linear motion guide can be divided into sliding friction guide, rolling friction guide, elastic friction guide, fluid friction guide and so on. Linear bearings are mainly used in automatic machinery, such as German machine tools, bending machines, laser welding machines and so on. Of course, linear bearings and straight shafts are matched. For example, linear guide is mainly used in mechanical structures with high accuracy requirements. The moving components and fixed components of linear guide are not medium, but rolling steel balls.

Linear guide can be divided into three kinds: roller linear guide, cylindrical linear guide and ball linear guide, which are used to support and guide the moving parts to do reciprocating linear motion in the given direction. In order to make the machine work normally and stably and ensure the processing quality of products, it is necessary to do a good job in the daily maintenance of guide rail and straight axis.

To clean the guide rail, please prepare two items: dry cotton cloth and lubricating oil. The guide rail of the engraving machine is divided into linear guide and roller guide. Clean linear guide: first move the laser head to the right (or left), find the linear guide, wipe with dry cotton cloth until the light is dust-free, plus a little lubricating oil (sewing machine oil can be used), the laser head around slowly push several times, so that the lubricating oil can be evenly distributed. Clean the roller guide: move the beam to the inside, open the end cover on both sides of the machine, find the guide rail, wipe the contact place between the guide rail and the roller with dry cotton cloth, and then move the beam to clean the rest of the place.
