How to Choose a Right Explosion Proof Solenoid Valve?

Solenoid valve is an industrial equipment controlled by electromagnetic, which is used to control the automatic basic components of the fluid and belongs to the actuator. Used in industrial control systems to adjust the direction, flow, speed and other parameters of the medium.

Explosion proof solenoid valve is a kind of solenoid valve. Compared with other solenoid valves, it also has a long service life. So how do we choose the right explosion-proof solenoid valve? In this article, we will introduce some key points about the selection of explosion proof solenoid valve.

    Choose explosion proof solenoid valve

    • Pipe parameter. Determine the diameter size according to the field pipe diameter or flow requirements. Generally, if the interface mode is larger than DN50, select the flange interface. If the interface mode is smaller than DN50, you can choose the flange interface according to user requirements.
    • Pressure parameter. The nominal pressure shall be determined according to the nominal pressure of the pipeline. If the working pressure is low, direct action or step by step principle is selected. When the minimum working pressure difference is above 0.04 MPa, direct acting type, step by step direct acting type, pilot type can be selected. The highest working pressure difference should be less than the maximum calibration pressure of the explosion proof solenoid valve. Generally, solenoid valve is one-way work, such as the installation of check valve, should pay attention to whether there is a reverse pressure difference
    • Fluid parameter. Corrosive fluid should choose anti-corrosive solenoid valve and all stainless steel solenoid valve. Food super clean grade fluid should choose food grade stainless steel solenoid valve. To choose a high temperature resistant material solenoid valve, and is a piston type of construction. The state of the fluid is roughly gaseous, liquid and mixed, especially when the caliber is greater than DN25, it must be distinguished. Fluid viscosity is also a factor. Usually allow liquid viscosity below 50 cst, more than this value, to choose high viscosity solenoid valve.
    • Voltage. Voltage is also an important factor, choosing the right voltage for our use can also be much more convenient. DC 6V, DC 12V, DC 24V. AC 24A, AC 110V, AC 220V can be chosen in ATO.store.
