First, speak with the on-duty process operator.
Enter the building site after gathering your tools and wearing the appropriate safety gear.
Before the flow meter is put to use, confirm with the process operator that the flow meter flange is tight, the pressure gauge installation is complete, and the filter and pipeline venting are both closed. This will ensure that all venting points are closed.
To avoid fluid impact measurement parts being damaged by the incoming shaft sealing mechanism connection shaft damage, instruct the process operator to first open the flow meter export side valve and then then slowly open the inlet valve gate.
After putting the flow meter into normal operation, check to see if the instantaneous flow rate, pipeline pressure, and temperature all match the values on the flow meter nameplate. Before leaving the site, make sure the work is finished and that there are no leaks at the sealing locations.

When the flow meter is discovered during an inspection or when the on-duty process operator alerts the flow meter to a problem.
After thoroughly comprehending the method and performing an analysis to determine the location of the fault, proceed to the scene.
When the flowmeter and process operators communicate, diagnosis must be stopped.
Close the inflow side valve after opening the bypass valve.
To release pressure, collect the oil, and clean up the area, open the drain valve underneath the pipeline.

Visit the location and speak with the on-duty craftperson first.

Stop the power and signal lines of the removed flowmeter at the DSC cabinet, then remove the power and signal lines from the site.
To release pressure and retrieve oil products, open the drain valve underneath the pipeline.
Close the flowmeter upstream valve first, then the bypass valve, and finally the downstream valve.
Clean up the area after removing the flowmeter.

Contact the operational craft crew members who are on duty first.

Check with the process staff to make sure all venting points are closed, the filter venting valve is closed, the pipeline venting valve is in place, the flowmeter flange is fastened, and the pressure gauge installation is complete.
To send electricity to the installed flow meter, the power line and signal line are linked to the DCS cabinet.
Tell the process operator to begin opening the flow meter downstream valve, then gradually open the flow meter upstream valve, and then close the bypass valve.
Observe the flowmeter warm-up flow and pipeline pressure after the flowmeter is put into regular operation to ensure that the temperature is consistent with the value listed on the flowmeter nameplate.
Before leaving the site, make sure the work is finished and that there are no leaks at the sealing locations.
