After purchasing one ATO load cell, you can buy a special digital display controller to obtain readings directly, or buy a transmitter to output standard signal to PLC, DCS and other systems. Customized output signal is 0-5V, 0-10V, or 4-20mA.
Note: The load cell cannot be connected to both the transmitter and the controller at the same time — only one can be selected.
Digital load cell weight sensor are available in multiple measurement ranges: 0-20kg, 0-40kg, 0-60kg, 0-100kg, 0-200kg, and 0-350kg. They support two output options: RS485 and RS232, with a high accuracy of ±0.05% and a 150% F.S safety overload.

Tips: How does an RS485 digital load cell differ from an RS232 load cell?
RS485 and RS232 are both serial communication protocols used in digital load cells, but they differ in performance, distance, and application:
RS232 (Short-Distance Communication):
- Supports point-to-point communication (one load cell to one device).
- Transmission distance is limited to around 15 meters.
- Commonly used for single-device connections, such as computers or display units.
RS485 (Long-Distance & Multi-Device Communication):
- Supports multi-drop networking (one load cell can communicate with multiple devices).
- Transmission distance extends up to 1200 meters, making it ideal for large-scale industrial applications.
- More resistant to electrical interference, ensuring stable data transmission in noisy environments.
