How to Operate Cabinet Frequency Converter?

Frequency converter is a power control equipment that uses frequency conversion technology and microelectronics technology to control AC motor by changing the working power frequency of the motor. Inverter can provide the required power supply voltage according to the actual needs of the motor, so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving and speed regulation. With the continuous improvement of industrial automation, frequency converter has been widely used. In this article, we' re gonna tell the operating steps of our cabinet frequency converter.

LCD display can show torque, speed and power value at the same time. This article shows you how to wire and set a torque sensor in Modbus mode via S484 interface as a walkthrough of one of the applications of ATO torque sensors.

5 Common Problems in Torque Sensor with Real-time Monitoring Software

Torque sensor is a kind of precision measuring instrument for measuring various torque, rotational speed and mechanical power. Torque sensors convert physical changes in torque force into accurate electrical signals. With the development of the society, all the measurement signal conditioning is integrated into the sensor, so that it can perform diagnostic processing, including monitoring temperature and mechanical limit values. In this article, we will introduce some common problems in torque sensor working with real-time monitoring software.

How to Wire and Set a Digital Rotary Torque Sensor?

ATO digital torque sensor feature a wide capacity range from 0.1/5/300/1000 Nm to 10000 Nm, with optional RS485 as well as other type’s output signals. Equipped with a 7 pin waterproof circular locking connector and 3m cable, the torque sensor can measure both forward and reverse torque. Now, we’re gonna talk about a digital rotary torque sensor from ATO, Model TQS-DYN-200.

How to Distinguish Active Signal and Passive Signal?

For current signals, if the equipment has an independent power line, the signal output it provides (such as 4-20 mA) is active signal; If the device has no independent power supply, the signal it provides is passive. The output signal of three-wire instrument and four-wire instrument is active signal, and the output signal of two-wire instrument is passive signal. In this article, we will introduce the passive and actice signal.

What is a Non-encolsure VFD for Custom-made Equipment?

Customized equipment, also known as non-standard equipment, is a type of integrated automated equipment that is specifically designed as customers desire and not circulating on the market. In this video, we’re gonna show you a non-enclosure VFD that is specially built for custom-made equipment.

What Causes the Inverter Not to Work?

The inverter converts DC (batteries, accumulators) to AC. In general, an inverter is an electronic device that converts low-voltage (12, 24, 48 volts, etc.) DC power into 220V AC (or other voltage) power. It consists of an inverter bridge, control logic and filtering circuit. When there is no output from an inverter, what's the reason?

    Relay/ Contactor Interlock Circuit Wiring

When an electrical circuit has two contactors and only one of them needs to be turned on at a time then the interlocking system is used. The interlocking system ensures that only one contactor can be on while another one will be in off condition even if we try to manually on.

5 Frequency Control Methods for VFD

A variable-frequency drive (VFD) is a type of motor drive used in electro-mechanical drive systems to control AC motor speed and torque by varying motor input frequency and, depending on topology, to control associated voltage or current variation. VFDs can be used to control AC motor speeds by changing the motor's frequency without sacrificing the output power of the motor. This is done by turning the speed pot (explained in section three) of an AC motor drive.

How to Change Induction Motor Wye Connection to Delta Connection?

Induction motor refers to a motor that relies on electromagnetic induction between the stator and the rotor to induce current in the rotor to realize electromechanical energy conversion. Three-phase asynchronous motors generally have two wiring structures, WYE (Y) and Delta (△). When the Y-type access voltage is 380V, we can change it to △ type 220V.

Test of 16 Input 16 Output Programmable Timer Relay

A PLC takes in inputs, whether from automated data capture points or from human input points such as switches or buttons. Based on its programming, the PLC then decides whether or not to change the output. A PLC's outputs can control a huge variety of equipment, including motors, solenoid valves, lights, switchgear, safety shut-offs and many others.

How to Calibrate the Analog Output of Load Cell?

A load cell, also known as a load or force transducer, is a sensor that measures applied forces. Load cells are capable of measuring both tension (force required to pull something) and compression (force required to push something). In order to measure these forces, the sensor creates an electrical output that changes depending on the amount of resistance being applied.

Delay Operation of Programmable Timer Relay

Programmable relay stores some typical relay logic control program in internal memory in advance and realize some simple logic control and sequence control function by the user program combination and calls. The user program uses the ladder diagram or functional diagram language through panel, intuitive and easy to understand. The switching signal input by the button, switch etc.

How to Use HMI to Display the Data of Load Cell?

A load cell is a force transducer. It converts a force such as tension, compression, pressure, or torque into an electrical signal that can be measured and standardized. As the force applied to the load cell increases, the electrical signal changes proportionally. We covered How to use PLC to monitor the data of load cell transmitter in our previous blog. Today we'll show you how to use HMI to display the data of load cell in real time.

    How to Convert 220V 1-Phase to 380V 3-Phase Converter?

A three phase converter is needed when the "phase" required does not match the "phase" available. In other words, the equipment needs three phase power and only single phase power is available. Phase converters operate by converting single phase power into three phase power. They can also provide split phase voltages from the three phase power source. A three phase converter is used to allow operation of three phase equipment when single phase electrical services are the only power available or vice versa. The majority of the time phase converters are utilized to produce three phase power from single phase power sources as utility companies will associate higher fees for three phase electrical services due to the extra transformers, cabling, and metering required. In this article, we will introduce how to convert single phase to three phase converter.

How to Install a Constant Pressure Water Pump?

The working principle of the constant pressure water pump is as follows:

    1. The VFD drives the water pump, and the pressure sensor/transmitter feeds back the pressure signal to the VFD to form a closed loop system.
    2. When the water pipe pressure is less than the set value, the VFD wakes up and starts pumping water.
    3. When the pressure does not reach the set target, the operating frequency will continue to increase to the rated frequency of the pump.
    4. When the pressure is greater than the set pressure, the operating frequency will decrease.
    5. When the pressure is greater than the sleep pressure, the frequency decreases to the sleep frequency for a period of time, and then stops pumping water.
    6. When the pressure is lower than the wake-up pressure, the pump starts to run again.
How to Use a Brix Refractometer?

Brix refractometers are a common instrument used to measure the sugar content of a solution. Increasing sugar content leads to an increase in the refractive index. By passing light through a sample and measuring the refraction, the amount that the light bends, the sugar content can be measured.
