    Cheap 3 phase 5 hp vertical centrifugal pump is a non-self-priming centrifugal pump that has a maximum flow 8.3m3/h (37 gpm), 48m (157ft) minimum head and 51m (167ft) maximum head.

    Features:

    • The centrifugal pump has a vertical structure, and its inlet and outlet have the same diameter. The inlet and outlet are on the same centerline so that they can be installed in the pipeline like a valve. If a protective cover is added, it can be used in the open air.
    • Easy to install and maintain. There is no need to dismantle the piping system, just remove the connecting flat nut of the vertical pump. All rotor parts can then be removed.
    • The vertical pump can be installed vertically or horizontally according to the requirements of the piping system.
    • Vertical centrifugal pumps can be run in series or in parallel according to the requirements of flow and head.

    Tips: Preparation before operating the centrifugal pump

    Inspection before start-up

    In order to ensure the safe operation of the pump, the entire unit should be thoroughly inspected before the pump is started, and problems should be found and dealt with in a timely manner. The inspection contents include the below items.

    1. If the motor is well fixed with the water pump if the bolt and nut are loose.
    2. If the lubrication oil of each bearing is sufficient if the lubrication oil goes bad.
    3. If the water pump is firstly used or re-installed, the rotation direction of the water pump should be checked correctly.
    4. Check if the liquid pool and filtering net have any foreign objects.
    5. Check if the stuffing in the stuffing box is hardened.
    6. Check if the valve on the draining pipe can be opened and closed flexibly.
    7. Check if the electrical wire of the motor is correct.
    8. Check if there is any object hindering its operation around the unit.

    Preparation before start-up

    After the comprehensive inspection and confirming everything is normal, the start-up preparation can be conducted. The works should include the below items.

    1. Close the valve on the drainage pipe, and reduce the start-up current.
    2. Open the vent cock, and fill water into the pump, and rotate the coupling manually, exhaust the residual air in the impeller as much as possible, until the cock has water emitted, and close it.
    3. When the vacuum pump is used to exhaust air and fill water for the large-scale water pump, the exhaust cock, and cock of the vacuum meter and pressure meter should be closed to protect the instrument's correctness.
