Tips: What is voltage regulation and speed regulation of speed control motor?
When the stator voltage of the motor is changed, a set of different mechanical characteristic curves can be obtained, thereby obtaining different speeds. Because the torque of the motor is proportional to the square of the voltage, the larger the torque is, the lower the speed range is, which makes it difficult to apply the general cage motor. In order to expand the speed regulation range, a cage motor with a large rotor resistance value should be used for the voltage regulation and speed regulation, such as a torque motor dedicated to voltage regulation and speed regulation, or a frequency-sensitive resistor connected in series with a wound motor.
In order to expand the stable running range, when speed is adjusted above 2: 1, feedback control should be adopted to achieve the purpose of automatic speed adjustment. The main device for voltage and speed regulation is a power supply that can provide voltage changes. Commonly used voltage regulation methods include series saturation reactors, autotransformers, and thyristor voltage regulation. The thyristor voltage adjustment method is preferred. Characteristics of voltage and speed regulation:
1. The voltage and speed regulating circuit is simple and easy to realize automatic control.
2. During the voltage adjustment process, the slip power is consumed in the rotor resistance in the form of heat generation, and the efficiency is low.
3. Voltage and speed are generally applicable to production machinery below 100KW.
