Application
Tips: what is the vortex flow meter working principle?
The flow sensor has a flow profile similar to that of a venturi (figure below). In the inlet side of a set of spiral guide vane, when the fluid into the flow sensor, the guide vane forcing the fluid to produce intense vortex flow. When the fluid enters the diffusion section, the vortex flow by the role of reflux, began to make the second rotation, the formation of gyroscopic vortex into the phenomenon. The feed frequency and flow size is proportional to the size of the fluid is not affected by the physical properties and density of the fluid, the detection element to measure the frequency of the second rotation of the fluid into the frequency can be obtained in a wide range of flow rate within a good degree of linearity.
Signal amplified by the preamplifier, filtering, shaping converted to a pulse signal proportional to the flow rate, and then with the temperature, pressure and other detection signals are sent to the microprocessor for the cumulative processing, and finally in the LCD display shows the results of the measurements (instantaneous flow rate, cumulative flow rate and temperature, pressure data).
