The ultrasonic anemometer sensor is a high-precision wind gauge, which is integrated by the ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensors. It can accurately and quickly detect the air velocity of 0-60 m/s and wind direction of 0-360°. Ultrasonic wind speed & direction anemometer can be widely used in meteorology, weather station, oceanography, environment, airports, ports, laboratories, industry and agriculture, and transportation and other fields.

Ultrasonic Wind Speed & Direction Anemometer Installation
There is rotary adjustable mounting holes at the bottom of the ultrasonic anemometer.
When installing the wind sensor, make sure the indicator on anemometer comply with the geographic north.
Tips: How to use 40 m/s ultrasonic anemometer correctly?
- Do not install the ultrasonic anemometer on the same plane with any radar scanning device, and keep a distance of at least 2m.
- lf the cable is not properly connected after cutting, or the cable shield is not well maintained, EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) may be reduced.
- Ensure the continuous power supply of the 40m/s ultrasonic anemometer in operation.
- Avoid turbulence caused by surrounding buildings, such as trees, power poles, tall buildings, etc., which can affect the ultrasonic anemometer. Accuracy of acoustic wind speed and direction sensor will be affected. The anemometer is best installed on the side of prevailing wind.
- If ultrasonic anemometer is installed on the building, theoretically, the installation height of sensor should be 1.5 of the building heights.
