Micro Pipette Details
Tips: Micropipette Standard Operation Procedure
1. Selection of micropipette: Select the corresponding micropipette according to your needs. Usually, it is recommended that the pipetting volume be within the range of 35% -100% of the tip. Such selection has fewer requirements on the operator's operating skills, and meanwhile ensures the accuracy and precision of pipetting.
2. Range adjustment: Follow the principle of large to small. When adjusting from a large range to a small range, quickly adjust the required range with the adjustment button. When the value is close to the ideal value, put the micropipette horizontally and turn it to a preset value. When adjusting from a small range to a large range, it should be noted that the rotation exceeds the predetermined value, and then returns to the predetermined value.
3. Install the tip: Use the rotary installation method to insert the micropipette tip cone vertically into the tip, press it gently, and rotate it 180 ° counterclockwise to install it. Do not use too much force.
4. Pre-washing the tip: First suck the sample, then drain it back to the sample container, and repeat it for 4-6 times.
5. Aspirate: Empty the tip before washing. Press the micropipette to the first stop point, and slowly release it when aspirating. Do not use excessive force. Stay against the wall for 1 to 2 seconds.
6. Dispensing: When dispensing, the tip should be close to the inner wall of the container and tilted 10°~ 40°. Place it at the bottom of the container as much as possible. Press the dispensing button to the first stop point, pause for 1 second, and wait for the rest liquid accumulation. Then, press it to the second stopping point to squeeze out the remaining liquid.
7. Remove the tip: Withdraw the tip with the tip ejector of the micropipette and place it in the container containing the disinfectant solution.
8. Rotate the micropipette to the maximum range.
9. Hook the micropipette on the pipette rack.
