This linear ball bearing is a type of rolling element designed to provide free motion in one direction. Little frictional resistance between the steel ball and the shaft ensures smooth movement with high precision and good linear guiding.

Tips: Differences between Bearings and Bushings
There is little difference between both items actually. A bushing is type of bearing. A bearing is generally engineered to realize smooth and highly-repeated movement between two components while minimizing friction. Featuring simple mechanism, a bearing typically has two surfaces rolling over each other, resulting in frictionless movement between two mating parts.
Bearings are broadly classified into linear bearings, radial bearings and thrust bearing, based on whether they are working with rotational or linear motion.
A bushing is a bearing specifically designed for certain applications.
In summary, a bushing is a bearing, but a bearing is not always a bushing.
