Tips: The Features of CAN Bus Control.

The CANBus data link layer protocol adopts a peer-to-peer communication method. Even if the host fails, the rest of the system can still operate (of course the performance is affected to a certain extent). When the status of a site changes, it can broadcast information to all sites.
The information transmission of CANBus is carried out through messages. There are 4 types of message frames: data frame, remote frame, error frame and overload frame. The data field of the CANBus frame is shorter, less than 8B, and the data length is given in the control field. Short frame transmission reduces the message error rate on the one hand, and also helps reduce the transmission delay time of other stations. The confirmation of frame transmission is completed by the sending station and the receiving station together. The ACK field sent by the sending station contains two "recessive" bits. After receiving the correct CRC field, the receiving station immediately sends a "occupied" bit ( dominant bit) to give the sending station a confirmed answer. CANBus also provides strong error handling capabilities, which can distinguish bit errors, padding errors, CRC errors, format errors, and response errors.

    Handy converter!
I've tried a few other cost effective converter and this converter is the only one I've found that doesn't have issues with certain equipment. Works perfect and I highly recommend it.
