1. Side wall installation (*The pH electrode must be at an angle of 15 degrees to the liquid surface. Otherwise, it will affect the normal use of the pH electrode.)

Tips: PTFE electrode dosing system

  1. The electrode should be installed in the bypass beside the main pipe, and a valve should be installed at its front end to control the flow velocity. The flow shall be as small as possible, generally, as long as the outlet has a stable aqueous solution drops. Electrodes should be installed vertically and go deep into active water, and the water outlet should be higher than the water inlet to ensure that the electrode is completely immersed in the solution.
  2. The electrode should be calibrated before installation.
  3. As the measurement signal is a weak electrical signal, its acquisition cable should be independent and avoided to be connected in a same cable connector or terminal with the power line and control line, so as to avoid interference or breakdown of measuring units.
  4. When measuring cables need to be lengthened, please choose to customize the length or contact customer service (more than 15m).

Accurate pH Electrode
Many different pH meters have been used in the laboratory, but their service life is relatively short. This also takes into account daily use. The pH meter may not last for a long time, and the pH value will deviate, so durability is also considered. I purchased this instrument and have been using it for a while. It can quickly read the pH value so that we can treat the experimental sewage and discharge it as soon as possible. Hope it can last longer.

Does the pH electrode connection have polarity?
The pH sensor is not sensing and there is no resistance between the two yellow (refer) and transparent (input) cables. Is this normal?
Does the sensor connection have polarity?
If so, what is the correct connection?
I have seen the manual but it does not indicate.

1. The correct connection of the pH sensor:
The yellow wire is connected to the REF terminal and the white wire is connected to the INPUT terminal.
2. ± 4~20ma is the terminal for the PH controller to transmit the output signal, and it is the output signal terminal.
Lasted so long
Not sure why this pH electrode has lasted so long. My pH device says its still fully functional after 6 months of ten-uses a day. Still holds less than 1% error slope.
