Tips: Pneumatic valve actuator troubleshooting
Actuator is one of the indispensable configurations in industrial automation process. Actuators are used very frequently and are usually installed in harsh environments such as high temperature and high pressure, so they are prone to failure.
If the pneumatic valve actuator is stuck, please disassemble the actuator, check the place where it is stuck, solve and reassemble. The leakage of the pneumatic actuator includes internal leakage and external leakage. For external leakage, check the piston rod and sealing sleeve for damage and replace them in time. If only they are worn out, you can simply reassemble them. Internal leaks can be caused by damaged seals, ingress of impurities, or a stuck piston. Add some lube. If the coil is damaged, it can be checked with a multimeter after connecting the power supply. If damaged, the coil can be replaced directly.
