Tips: What is a photoelectric liquid level sensor?
In recent years, with the continuous development of electronic technology and automation, liquid level measurement and control technology has been greatly improved. The functions of the photoelectric liquid level sensor are more and more perfect for multiple industries, such as petrochemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, pharmaceutical, water supply and drainage, environmental protection system. All kinds of medium level measurement is inseparable from the liquid level switch. The importance of liquid level sensor is becoming more and more prominent, even directly affects the quality of the products.
Photoelectric level sensor is a common type of liquid level switch that contains an infrared LED and a photoelectric receiver. The light from the LED is directed into a prism at the top of the sensor. If there is no liquid, the light from the LED is reflected directly from the prism back to the receiver. When a liquid is immersed in a prism, light is refracted into the liquid so that the receiver receives little or no light. The receiver can drive the electrical switch of the internal photoelectric level switch to activate the external alarm or control circuit. The optical level sensor has a very high accuracy and repeatability in the process of monitoring the position of the liquid level. The repeatability is up to ±1mm in the monitoring of the liquid interface.
