Tips: What is a magnetic proximity sensor?
A hall magnetic proximity sensor is a device with the function of converting a magnetic quantity signal into an electrical signal. Using the transformation relationship between magnetic quantities and other physical quantities, and using the magnetic field as a medium, other non-electrical physical quantities can also be converted into electrical signals. Magnetic proximity sensor is a non-contact position detection switch. Non-contact position detection does not wear and damage the detection object, and the response time is fast.
The output state of the magnetic proximity switch is divided into normally open, normally closed and latched, and the output forms are NPN and PNP. Its wiring forms include AC and DC, two-wire, three-wire, four-wire and five-wire wiring forms.
Usually, the current limiting resistor and protection diode are connected in series when the magnetic proximity switch is used. Even if the lead polarity is reversed, it will not burn, but the magnetic proximity switch cannot work normally.
