    Tips: Applications of electromagnetic relays

    1. Flood alarm: open or close a circuit by changes of water level to realize alarm function.
When the water level exceeds the warning line, the floater will float up. As a result, the circuit will be closed and the electromagnet will attract the armature. Then, alarm indicator is powered on to alarm users.
    2. Automatic temperature alarm: the level of mercury changes with temperature. Its changes could be used to control opening and closing of the circuit and realize function of the automatic temperature alarm. When temperature rises to a threshold value, mercury in the thermometer will rise to the wire. Mercury is a kind of conductor, so it could be used to close the circuit of the electromagnetic system. As a result, the electromagnet will attract the spring and close the alarm circuit to make it ring up. When temperature falls, mercury in the thermometer will be disconnected from the wire. Consequently, the spring will restore its position and the electromagnetic circuit will be opened to silence the alarm.

The Difference Between Solid State Relays and Electromagnetic Relays

SSR and EMR are both commonly used electrical control components. Their main difference is that solid state relays are usually based on semiconductor technology and have no mechanical contacts, while electromagnetic relays rely on electromagnetic effects to control the opening and closing of switches. Taken together, SSR have advantages in response speed, durability, and anti-interference capabilities, and are particularly suitable for application scenarios that require fast response and high precision. The EMR performs better in terms of cost and heat dissipation requirements, and is suitable for cost-sensitive applications with low heat dissipation requirements.

    Handy electromagnetic relay
Equal in quality to any relays I've used in industry applications. Handy LED indicator.  Electromagnetic relays plug in and out of the socket smoothly and firmly. Highly recommended!!!

    Works perfectly
Needed to get remote power with a 120VAC trigger, for some stage lighting, and these relays are going to work out great! I've had the relay installed for 5 days at the time of writing this review. It has performed as expected. I would buy it again, and look into getting a mounting bracket for easier installation.
