The quarter-turn electric valve actuators are used to control 0-90° rotating valves and other similar products, such as butterfly valves, ball valves, dampers, plug valves, louver valves, etc. It is driven by power supply AC 24V, 110V, 220V, 380V, or DC 24V. This small electric valve actuator can be widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, pharmacy, paper making, energy, water treatment, shipping, textile, food processing, building automation and other fields.
With 50Nm output torque and 20s standard working time, the electric valve actuator has advantages of small size, light weight, exquisite appearance, unique structure, compactness, quick opening and closing, easy installation, small operating torque, convenient operation, no need for maintenance and safe use.

Note:
* For the control circuit diagram, please refer to Electric Valve Actuator Instruction Manual.
** Due to different manufacturers and different operating environment, even the same type of valves actually has different working torque. Therefore, it is recommended that when selecting a electric valve actuator, the operating torque of the valve should be 60% ~ 80% of the rated output torque of the actuator.

Tips: What is an actuator?
An actuator is a drive mechanism that provides linear or rotary motion. The actuator is driven by a motor, cylinder or other devices via hydraulic, pneumatic, electric or other energy sources. It is basically divided into three drive types: part-turn, multi-turn and linear.
The basic function of a valve actuator is used to control the valve to fully open or fully close. Although most valve actuators are used to switch on-off valves, the present valve actuators are designed to go far beyond simple switching functions. The valve actuators are designed in a compact housing with the functions including position sensing, torque sensing, electrode protection, logic control, and digital communication modules, and PID control modules, etc.
Because more and more factories use automatic control, manual operation is replaced by mechanical or automation equipment. It is required that the valve actuator can play the role of interface between the control system and the mechanical movement of a valve. Moreover, the valve actuator is required to meet the needs of work safety and environment protection. In some dangerous situations, the use of automatic valve actuators can reduce the risk of personal injury.
For some high pressure and large diameter valves, the required valve actuator needs very large output torque. In this case, the valve actuator needs to increase the mechanical efficiency and use the high output motor, so that the large diameter valve can be operated smoothly. For some small torque valves, small electric valve actuators are used. Compared with ordinary models, they have the advantages of light weight, compact structure and complete functions.
