The quarter-turn electric valve actuators are used to control 0-90° rotating valves and other similar products, such as butterfly valves, ball valves, dampers, plug valves, louver valves, etc. It is driven by power supply DC 24V, AC 24V, AC 110V, AC 220V, or AC 380V. This small electric valve actuator can be widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, pharmacy, paper making, energy, water treatment, shipping, textile, food processing, building automation and other fields.
The electric valve actuator has 30s/100Nm, 0-90° rotation with switch control, characterized with compact size, light weight, fast opening and closing, easy installation, small operating torque, convenient operation, no need for maintenance and safe use.

Note:
* For the control circuit diagram, please refer to Electric Valve Actuator Instruction Manual.
** Due to different manufacturers and different operating environment, even the same type of valves actually has different working torque. Therefore, it is recommended that when selecting a electric valve actuator, the operating torque of the valve should be 60% ~ 80% of the rated output torque of the actuator.

Tips: Electric valve actuator: quarter-turn vs. multi-turn
There are two types of electric actuators, quarter-turn electric valve actuators and multi-turn electric valve actuators. The former mainly controls valves that require partial rotation, such as ball valves, butterfly valves, etc., the latter requires multiple turns of the valve, like gate valves.
Multi-turn electric actuator are one of the most common and reliable actuator types. It drives the gear or worm gear by single-phase or three-phase motor and then drive the stem nut to move, so as to open or close the valve. Multi-turn electric valve actuators can quickly open and close large size valves. To protect the valve from damage, the limit switch installed at the end of the valve stroke will cut off the motor power. At the same time, when the safety torque is exceeded, the torque sensor will also cut off the motor power. The position switch is used to indicate the valve's on & off state. The handwheel mechanism can manually operate the valve in case of a power failure.
Quarter-turn electric valve actuators are similar to the multi-turn electric actuators. The main difference is that the actuator finally outputs one quadrantrotation, that is, 90 degrees of motion. The quarter-turn electric valve actuators features compact and it can be installed on small-sized valves. In addition, the required power supply is small, and they can be fitted with batteries for fail-safe operation.
