The digital sound level meter is an accurate noise measurement tool with ±1.5dB high accuracy and an A-weighted mode that simulates the auditory response of the human ear. With a resolution of 0.1dB, it can accurately measure the frequency range from 31.5Hz to 8kHz, and the sampling rate can be adjusted to either 125ms or 1000ms, ensuring that measurements can be taken in a variety of situations. The mini sound level meter is also equipped with an overload indicator, which automatically displays the “UN” or “OL” symbol to help the user identify if the measurement range is out of limits.

Tips: Digital noise level meter basics
Most digital noise level meters have a measurement range of 35dB to 135dB, which is sufficient to cover noise levels from very quiet environments such as libraries to very noisy places such as construction sites.
Many digital noise level meters have a data storage function that enables multiple measurements to be saved. This data can be viewed on the display on the device or uploaded to a computer via an interface such as USB for subsequent analysis.
Digital noise sound level meters usually require periodic calibration to ensure the accuracy of your measurements. The calibration procedure involves using a calibrator, usually set at a standard noise level of 94dB or 114dB, and connecting it to the microphone of the sound level meter. Start the sound level meter and adjust the unit until it displays a reading that matches the calibrator. It is recommended that calibration be carried out once a year, or when the unit has been subjected to severe shock or has not been used for a long period of time.
