    Tips: What factors affect the output voltage of a DC buck converter?

    The output voltage of a buck converter is affected by many factors. The first is the change in input voltage, since the output voltage is usually proportional to the input voltage. The second is the change of load, because the increase or decrease of load will cause the output voltage to fluctuate. The characteristics of the inductor and capacitor also affect the stability and ripple of the output voltage. The conduction loss and cutoff loss of the switch tube and diode will also affect the output voltage. In addition, temperature changes can also affect the stability of the output voltage because the characteristics of the device may change with temperature. Taking these factors into consideration, designers need to make reasonable selections of components and design parameters to ensure the stability and accuracy of the step down converter's output voltage.

    I am interested in your DC-DC buck converter
    Hi I am interested in your ATO-DCDC-2412. But I see in the specs the minimum input voltage is 18 VDC. What happened if the input voltage drops below 18V?

    If the voltage drops below 18V, the output voltage will be unstable. And we can customize for about 2V less than the normal operating voltage range (16V input voltage).

    Hi I am interested in your ATO-DCDC-2412. But I see in the specs the minimum input voltage is 18 VDC. What happened if the input voltage drops below 18V?

    Good price and good value DC-DC converter
    Lots of DC-DC boost/buck converters for sale on ATO.com store. So I just found the right one to meet my need. Used this converter to step down DC 24v to 12v. Product was as described and does the job as it should. No issues at all. Good price and good value.

    Steady step down converter
    This DC-DC buck converter works great, I was using a charge controller to provide 12 volts to my 12V components to rotate the solar panels. This converter is much simpler and works way better. Keeps my voltage at 12 volts and I will be able to add more panels too.
