Existing reviews of DC Current Sensor 1mA/1A/5A/10A/100A to 800A
I need to find a meter or a circuit to read and display the signal. I think it would be easy for me to stay with the current sensor ATO-CURTS-DZIC (measuring range 0-200A). I still have some questions about this item. Can I use it to measure 20 kHz current? Should this current sensor be compatible with paperless recorders or certain PLCs?

1. The frequency bandwidth of ATO-CURTS-DZIC (measurement range 0-200A) is 20-50kHz, you can use it to measure 20kHz current.
2. This current sensor should be able to work with the paperless recorder or some PLC.
Will negative currents damage the sensor
Hello, I have a 12-pin, no hole (non-hall effect) current sensor. I understand that this sensor will not correctly read negative currents. My question is: will running negative current through the sensor damage it?

Hi Tim,
For our no hole sensor ATO-CURTS-DZIA, negative current will damage this sensor.
Does this mean that the sensor will not read current pulses if they are not at least 150ms?
The response time is listed as 150ms. Does this mean that the sensor will not read current pulses if they are not at least 150ms? Or is this the communication time of the reading? I have an application that requires to read a pulse that is 0.5ms long.

Yes, the response time is 150ms. This means that the sensor reads the current pulse for no less than 150ms. Our current sensors are Not available in 0.5ms response time versions.
Can this DC current sensor be supported?
The input will be analog output that can loop through to control input. This DC current sensor will support?

The current sensor is only used to measure the DC current 4-20ma at the input end, and output an analog current signal 4-20ma at the output end, but it cannot control the current at the input end. Current sensors can only measure current signals and convert them into analog signals for output.
Questions about the range of current sensor
I bought this DC current sensor last week. Can the range be 4-20 ma input and 4-20 ma output?

Yes, the current sensor you bought has a measurement range of 0-20mA, and also supports 4-20mA input and 4-20mA output.
Have a question on output to plc
Can this device measure AMP for 14 v dc motor and send the result to plc? Also, I need a graph between time and amp so can I do that by using that device?

This device can measure the DC input side current of the DC motor, and you can put it on the DC side for monitoring.
Our equipment will output an analog signal, so you can connect to the analog input module of PLC.
But you need to analyze the output by yourself, we don't provide graphs.
Have a question on the input connection of the current sensor
I have just received my current transducer and have a question on the input connection of the equipment.
Would you please review and advise on how the input side is connected to the transducer?
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

The DC current sensor should be connected in series in the DC circuit, so the second schematic in your attachment is correct, as shown in the picture below.
What is the range of voltages the DC current sensor can take?
I bought your current sensor that takes 110AC power supply. But a common outlet in the US outputs 120AC. Can I input this into the current sensor without damaging it?

What is your order number?
Generally, the voltage input range of the current sensor is 110±10%.
If the input voltage does not exceed 120V, there is no problem.
But the voltage fluctuation to 125V may damage the sensor.

The DC Current Sensor has analog components inside.
This analog circuit can convert the input current signal into an analog output voltage or current signal, no problem.
Could you please help clarify the query below?
1)Whether the ATO-CUS-DC800 DC current sensor measures the current max of 4A @ 24V input line (In , In-). Please confirm
2)Whether it withstand the 6A inrush current for 4A current measurement. Please confirm.

In the case below, if the current sensor requires it withstand the 6A inrush current for 4A current measurement, we recommend the 0-10A range capacity.

This unit does not need to be calibrated, it should be used directly after purchase as it is already well calibrated before shipping out. The two potentiometers on the sensor are for the factory calibration.

The use of 1mA-800A DC current sensor
If I buy a unidirectional current transducer (ATO-CUS-DC800), what happens when the DC line polarity switches? Is there damage to the transducer? Or does the output simply go to 4mA?

When the DC line polarity switches, the output simply goes to 0 mA. It will not damage the transducer, but it is not recommended for that.
