Tips: Selection of voltage level of solid state relay
When the peak voltage applied to the AC terminals of the SSR exceeds the maximum voltage peak that the SSR can withstand, the SSR will be damaged by the voltage breakdown of the components inside the SSR. If the voltage value is too large, the SSR will not be protected. Please try to select within the following range.
When the AC load is a 220V resistive load, a 220V voltage level SSR can be selected. When the AC load is 220V inductive load or the AC load is 380V resistive load, the SSR of 380V voltage level can be selected. When the AC load is an inductive load of 380V, an SSR with a voltage level of 480V can be selected. For other occasions with special requirements and high reliability requirements, such as power compensation capacitor switching, motor forward and reverse rotation, etc., SSRs with a voltage level of 480V must be selected.
