VFD factory reset: If your VFD nameplate S/N serial number has 9000, please set Pd.01=1. If the nameplate does not have 9000, please set parameter P3.01=10.
Can I adjust the frequency it operates at while running?
Sorry for the confusion. My frequency range is 40 to 60 Hz. When I power up the VFD, the display flashes 40Hz. Can I adjust the frequency it operates at while running?

Yes, when the VFD is running, you can adjust the frequency through the operation panel potentiometer, set P0.01=0 (the frequency comes from the keyboard analog potentiometer). Let us know if you have any other questions.
Can I use a phased sine wave filter (partially) in a single phase output?
We purchased three 7.5 hp (5.5 kW) VFD's from your company and we would like to filter their outputs as we have noticed that they stress the compressor start capacitors, one of which has failed. Is it possible to use a phase sine wave filter (partially) in the single phase output? Or do you know of any manufacturer that offers this solution?

Unfortunately, three-phase filters cannot be used as single-phase filters. We recommend that you replace the compressor's start capacitor with a model with higher withstanding voltage and better performance.
How do I set the starting frequency?
My frequency range is from 40 to 60 and it starts at 40Hz.

If you want a 0-60HZ output, you can set the lowest frequency to P0.20=0 (lower frequency limit).
Is there any way to go through the VFD parameters over the phone?
OK, this drive is running a single-phase 240 V motor with the capacity of no pressure transducer.
I have set all parameters but when I push the start button, the motor does not turn and just hums.
I am also trying to use a 2-wire control to start and stop the motor with a time block. Is there any way to go through the parameters over the phone?

1. Please provide us with your motor nameplate picture.
2. What parameters did you set? Please provide the wiring diagram.
3. It would be better if the working video of VFD can be provided.
Thank you for your understanding. You can send us the large video file via wetransfer.com.
I need your help to solve VFD problem

Please describe what programming problem you are having.
And provide us your motor nameplate drawing for further confirmation.
You can refer to our setup manual and video.

What is the best way to wire the auxiliary contacts to start this VFD?
What is the best way to wire the auxiliary contacts to start this drive with a time clock and what would I need to change in the programing?
Thank you.

You want to control the start of the VFD through the contacts of a timing relay, yes?
Please tell us in detail what is your control requirement?
You can refer to our demo video for inspiration. Please see on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxTVneMG5Jo&list=PLlo8RulDRnthBFbP4ydheukDSKw2hAfDn&index=27
Overheated the compressor
We have successfully tested this VFD with our air-conditioning compressor (model: Copeland ZR48K3E-PFJ-522 / Locked motor current: 114 A / max. operating current: 23.5 A, starting capacitor: 60 uF). However, the only configuration which really works is a two-terminal connection with the starting capacitor present. Unfortunately, all other 3-wire configurations, which directly supply the secondary winding as presented in the manual, resulted in very high currents, which immediately overheated the compressor. The running current, as shown on the VFD screen, is about 9.2 A in normal operation, but was exceeding 25 A when connected in a 3-wire configuration. Could you please explain this problem? When trying to supply the VFD directly from the available 330 V DC bus, the inrush current is extremely high, immediately blowing a slow-blow 30 A fuse. Could you please provide the exact total capacity of the internal capacitors of the VFD? We need to either install a bigger fuse or, better, provide a slow-start for charging the internal capacitors of the VFD without blowing the fuse.

1. Because 3-wire configurations change the internal structure of the motor, the starting current of the motor will be very large. Not all single-phase motors are suitable for changing to 3-wire configurations, so we recommend that you continue to use 2-wire configurations and keep the capacitor connection.
2. The fuse can be configured according to 1.5 times the rated current of the VFD, and you can use a 50A fuse for testing.
I want to add VFD’s to our two 10hp irrigation pump motors.
I want to add VFD’s to our two 10hp irrigation pump motors. So we can set the ramp rate and reduce water hammering.
I was told that you can’t get VFD’s for single phase motors over 5 hp but then came across yours.
I have attached the name plate from one of the motors (they’re both the same).

Our largest single-phase VFD is only 7.5kw, and the output rated current is 50A. But your single-phase motor is also 7.5kw, with a current of 41A. In this case, we can Not guarantee that our single-phase VFD can normally drive this 7.5kW single-phase motor.
What VFD setting should adjust?
I am currently trying to program my gk3000 VFD to operate my 7.5 hp motors.
I have 240V single phase from two inverters. I have 195V per wire on the output.
I am wanting 115V per wire on the out put. What setting should I adjust to achieve my goal?

You can set parameter p0.08 (maximum output voltage).
I have installed a GK3000 single phase VFD, a 3 phase motor is connected. The VFD boots up and there are no alarms. When I run the VFD the display shows the output frequency and output voltage but the motor does not turn and there is no voltage outputting to the motor.

1. Please provide us with a video to show the problem you describe. The video should show that the VFD is running, but there is no output voltage.
2. You can set the VFD parameters: P3.01=10 (restore the factory parameters), run the VFD with no load, and when the frequency runs to 50/60HZ, use a multimeter to measure whether the output terminals U-V and V-W of the VFD have output voltage.
We are looking for a VFD. Can you give us some advice?
We are looking for single phase input and output VSD for single Phase fan 230VAC, 0.4kW. Could you please give me advice?

Yes, recommended drive model: GK3000-1S0007, 1 hp (0.75 kW) power capacity.
I've been in the electrical business for a long time and I'm very pleased to see your single phase output VFD. How can the starting torque be compared when using the drive VS the same motor starting with its original capacitors? Taking this to a bad case like starting a piston compressor, would it work?

If you use our single phase output VFD, the starting torque of the single phase motor will be smaller than the original motor. Because the starting voltage and frequency will be smaller when the VFD just starts the motor. So for such a piston compressor to start, it would not work.
I have a 3 hp 115 volt 30 amp motor that I need a VFD for. What are my options for this application?

We provide 1 phase drive, but only for 1 phase, 220/230/240V motors. Don't provide for 115V motors.

Yes, it does not matter, your can remove capacitors or keeping them, the drive will run the motor effciently.
