Tips: Protective function of mechanical interlock AC contactor

    1. Undervoltage protection: When the power supply voltage drops for some reason, the torque of the motor will be significantly reduced, which will affect the normal operation of the motor. In severe cases, it will cause "blocking" and damage the motor. The above-mentioned malfunction can be avoided by adopting the contactor self-locking control circuit. Because when the power supply voltage is lower than 85% of the rated voltage of the contactor coil, the electromagnetic force generated by the contactor electromagnetic system cannot overcome the reaction force of the spring, so it is released, the main contact opens, and the main circuit is automatically cut off to achieve undervoltage protection.
    2. Loss of voltage protection: When the motor is started, if the power supply circuit is cut off, but then the power supply is restored, in this case, because the self-locking contact is still disconnected, the motor will not start by itself, and the order must be reissued to start.
