    Tips: 3 phase AC current transducer application
    The 3 phase AC current transducer has three 20mm holes, which can simultaneously collect A/B/C three-phase current. It is mainly used in the mining machinery factory for three-phase current detection of the power supply. The AC current transducer adopts special design, with integral potting shell, spring pressure terminals, low cost, small footprint, strong earthquake resistance, etc. It can be well applied to mining machinery and coal mining with strong vibration and serious dust pollution and other heavy industries. The three-phase AC current transducer can enable the operator to understand and master the working status of the shearer in real time. The three-phase current transducer is mainly used for monitoring the three-phase current of the power line, including sampling the front and rear cutting motor and the traction motor. The sampling signal is converted into a digital quantity in the input acquisition module and then sent to the PLC host unit for performing electrical protection and data display on meter.

    What is the meaning of the “overload capacity” of AC current transducer?
    Thank you for the reply. I have another question: what is the meaning of the “overload capacity” in the datasheet? It’s specified as “30 times nominal input”.
    Does this mean that the normal working range is between 0-80A, but the transducer can handle up to 2400A for a short period of time? If yes, how long can it withstand the overloading?

    Overload capacity is the instantaneous overload capacity.
    It can handle up to 2400A for a short period of time, and the longest time it can withstand is only 5 seconds.
    great purchase
    We used this little current sensing relay to interconnect a vent hood with the make up air and it worked perfectly. If I had one thing to make the product more versatile it would be to make the current sensing either adjustable or to adjust sensitivity but the wide range of the actual current sensing is great for such a small unit.
