Tips: Classification of piston portable air compressor
According to the stages of compression, there are single-stage compression and two-stage compression. Single stage air compressor means that there is only once compression of refrigerant vapor from low pressure to high pressure in the compression process. The two-stage air compressor means that there is twice continuous compression of refrigerant vapor from low pressure to high pressure in the compression process.
According to the way of action, there are single-acting air compressors and double-acting air compressors. The refrigerant vapor is only compressed on the side of the piston, and the piston goes back and forth in one stroke with inhale and air-out one time. However, the refrigerant vapor of a double-acting air compressor takes turn to compress in the cylinder on both sides of the piston, and the piston goes back and forth in one stroke with inhale and air-out twice. So for the cylinder of the same size, the inspiratory capacity of double-acting air compressor is larger than single acting air compressor. However, because of the complex structure of the double acting air compressor, the single-acting air compressor is used mostly.
