Do I need to do anything to end this program?
I inputted all the parameters, but I am not sure how to finish in order to test the system. I would think that when I program they would begin running at 25Hz. Can you tell me if I need to do something to end the programming?

After setting the VFD parameters, you also need to use an external push button switch for the start signal and speed selection signal.
1. Please use a self-locking button switch to connect the FWD-COM terminal as the VFD start signal.
2. Please use a self-locking button switch to connect the X1-COM terminal as the VFD speed selection signal (when X1 and COM are connected, speed=60hz, disconnected=25HZ).
I need this VFD to output 60Hz
I need it to output 60Hz, and the one we received appears to be rated at 220V 50Hz for its maximum output.
When I discussed this with the person on your website it was supposed to be rated for 230/240V 60Hz 3-phase output.

Output 60Hz frequency, you need to set parameters P0.06=60, P0.07=60, P0.19=60.
What the minimum voltage is that this VFD can function at?
Can you confirm what the minimum voltage is that this VFD can function at?
We measured our voltage at our 240V receptacle and it is outputting 204V.

The minimum input voltage of GK3000-2S0015 is 150V, and the output voltage is 0-input voltage.
Do I need set parameters in VFD P0.0 and onwards?
Thank you for the response. I am trying to communicate via the hardwired signals and get information via MODBUS. In that case do I need to set any other parameters in P0.0 and onwards?

No, you do not need to set any other parameters in P0.0 and onwards.
My client has an ATO GK3000 VFD installed at one of their sites in Texas, USA. (See attached pictures for make/model)
We have been unable to communicate with it via PLC hardwired controls. We want to use hardwired (terminal) signals for speed feedback, speed setpoint, forward run command, run feedback and trip feedback. We have also changed the following VFD parameters:
We need your support in setting this VFD up. Looking forward to your support.

Sorry for the late response.
The PA parameter group does not need to be set, and the motor frequency and voltage are set to P0.07 and P0.08.
If the PLC can not communicate, you need to check the PLC program. The inverter communication protocol address is in chapter 9 of the inverter manual, page P160.
Please refer to the link for the manual: https://www.ato.com/Content/doc/ato-gk3000-series-vfd-user-manual.pdf
Is it possible with the installation of a physical analog switch?
I need to be able to reverse the motor rotation using the keypad. Is that possible? Or is it possible with the installation of a physical analog switch? On my VFD, I have a FWD/REV switch on the panel. I've looked through the manual, but it does not have the F8-13=0 parameter to enable reverse rotation permission listed.

If you want to operate forward and reverse through the VFD panel, you can set F7-01=2, press the MF.K key on the panel to switch between forward and reverse, reverse when the DIR light is on, and forward when it is off. But if you want the VFD to rotate forward by one key and reverse by the other key, you can only control it through the terminal.
I just ordered 2hp VFD. I've read the manual, but I'm not seeing what size potentiometer I need for the external speed control.

The VFD potentiometer is generally 4.7KΩ-10KΩ (for any VFD capacity).

1. Input voltage To VFD should be 1-phase, 220/230V.
2. Your motor should be configured To 3-phase, Delta, 220V.
3. Set PA.01 To 220V.
How do I connect my motor to the VFD?
I received this 2hp VFD today in perfect condition. So, thank you for the fast delivery.
I do however have one question that the very informative user manual doesn't seem to cover.
How do I connect my motor to the VFD? The motor will be used to drive a fan for a kitchen exhaust and is quite oversized to deliver enough suction when running derated on low rpm / low torque.
If you would be so kind to enlighten me on this matter, it would be greatly appreciated.

Connect your single phase supply to VFD's R&S terminals and connect your motor to U&V&W terminals.
E is ground terminal.
