The basic characteristics of 1.5kW asynchronous motor are that the rotor winding does not need to be connected to other power sources, and its stator current is taken directly from the AC power system; compared with other motors, the structure of asynchronous motor is simple, easy to manufacture, use and maintain, with high operational reliability and low cost. Take three-phase asynchronous motor with clutch for example, compared with DC motor of the same power and speed, the weight of the former is only one-half of the latter, and the cost is only one-third.
Asynchronous motor with clutch is also easy to derive a variety of series products according to the requirements of different environmental conditions. It also has near-constant speed load characteristics, can meet the requirements of most industrial and agricultural production machinery dragging.
