SMPS Power Supply Application
Tips: How to choose a switching power supply
Types of switching power supplies: Understand your needs and confirm the type of input and output terminals, whether you need AC to DC, DC to DC, or DC to AC.
Select the switching power supply with appropriate power: In order to improve the reliability of the system, it is recommended that the switching power supply actually work at 50%-80% load, that is, the switching power supply with about 30% more output power is selected. For example, if the power is 20W, a switching power supply with an output power of 25W-40W should be selected. If the load is a motor or capacitive load, these loads will have a certain impact on the power supply when the load is turned on. In this case, the power should be larger or a specific switching power supply with an inductive load should be selected.
