Compact harmonic drive gearbox
The strain wave harmonic drive gearbox is small in size, which fully meets the dual requirements of compactness and transmission efficiency for my space-constrained design (cavity below about 15mm). I use it to drive a small brushless motor with an encoder, with very high positioning accuracy, basically no backlash, and rotation repeatability within a few milliradians.
