Tips: Is the overload of 10 hp AC servo spindle motor necessarily related to the current?
10 hp AC servo spindle motor is used as a torque output device, and its overload must be that the shaft torque of the mechanical part is large and exceeds the allowable value of the motor, regardless of the current. However, this phenomenon is characterized by an increase in current, which is equal to or exceeds the rated current. Under normal circumstances, when the AC servo spindle motor is configured and designed, the selected electric torque is greater than 10~15% of the mechanical shaft torque. Therefore, when the operating current of 10 hp AC servo spindle motor reaches or slightly exceeds 85% of the rated current, basically, it can be considered that the full load of the machine has been reached. When it exceeds 90%, it can be regarded as mechanical (equipment) overload.
